The Ministry of Health’s official data confirms that every year 5000 babies are born in Malaysia with CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and 3,000 of those babies will require surgery or they will not survive.

 

Due to this concern, the Ministry of Health had entered into a contract with MediAssist4U a non-profit organisation and the Narayana Health in Bangalore, India in year 2008 to provide children heart surgical services and to help reduce the backlog of patients and long waiting times.

 

A total of 241 children were sent to India for heart surgery with a mortality rate of 1%. The MOH had officially informed us that it was very satisfied with the services rendered and particularly the successful surgical outcomes.The Ministry of Health have renewed our contract this year (2016).
